xoxo, Sam

You’re building something meaningful.
Let’s document it.

My photography journey began in 2014… on an island in the middle of the Pacific.

After moving to Hawai‘i to be closer to my husband’s family and serve in our church, a dear friend mailed me her DSLR — and I started photographing everything.
Friends. Babies. Beaches. Sunsets.

Somewhere between chasing toddlers in the sand and racing the sun to catch that last golden glow, I fell in love with light.

Hawai‘i has a way of training you quickly. The skies shift in seconds. The ocean reflects everything. The sunsets? Unreal. I learned how to read light, move with it, and anticipate those fleeting, in-between moments that make a photograph feel alive.

What started as “just taking pictures” slowly became a craft. Then a business. Then a calling.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of photographing hundreds of families, and now I serve clients in Texas with the same heart — and the same obsession with beautiful light — that shaped me on the islands.

With years of refinement behind the lens, I’m ready to capture your season in a way that feels natural, elevated, and true to you.

From Florida to Hawai‘i, and now in Texas, each chapter has been guided by faith.
I always trusted the Lord had something meaningful ahead — photography became the calling that brought it into focus.
